As Jacob is a Biotic, you're able to command him to use his special skills in order to help you out in this conflict. After that, you can pick "Just a few questions." for +2 Paragon Points, or "I'm tired of taking orders!" for +2 Renegade Points.Įventually it becomes clear that you'll need to destroy the LOKI Mechs before you can have a decent conversation, and you'll be back in combat.

Here, you can pick "I need answers!" for +2 Renegade Points. In general, left-hand responses will give longer replies, and will almost never give any Morality Points. In this conversation with Jacob, you now have three responses to pick from, with one on the left and two on the right.

Take out the LOKI Mechs, and you'll enter a conversation with him. A man named Jacob, who works on this ship, will be here to help you. Head through the door at the top of the stairs and you'll be attacked by another crew of mechs from across a chasm on your left, but this time, you're going to have a little help in dealing with them (thankfully). At the top, look left for a man who gets blown up by a YMIR Mech on the other side of a window: to the left of that is a Public Computer with more backstory. On the wall between the two Cerberus Laptops.īacktrack out of the office and continue down the corridor, heading up a staircase. In the office, after killing the two crawling mechs, you can find two Cerberus Laptops that will give some background information on the Lazarus Project. While you need to turn right down the hallway to ultimately continue on with your quest, you should first go through the door ahead of you, which will lead to an isolated office. The corridor you eventually encounter following the fire hazard will present you with what is, in essence, the very first fork in the road you'll face. Then, take cover behind the glass railing, aim downwards, and take out the four robots that walk through the door with a single shot (they won't come through the door until you're armed and ready with the grenade launcher, so take your time). Scurry towards the grenade launcher's location and follow the on-screen prompt to equip it. The next area will allow you to pick up a new weapon - The M-100 Grenade Launcher - to use on a crew of nearby robots that will eventually emerge out of the door. The good news is that, once all is quiet, you can find ammunition dropped by all of those enemies you killed. Take cover and make sure to remain consistent in shooting these foes as they approach, since you can find yourself inundated and in serious trouble if they start to swarm your position. Thankfully, these foes aren't fast-moving or aggressive, nor can they aim exceptionally well, so you'll have plenty of time to deal with each one as they approach you. In the following room, you'll again find yourself under attack, this time from seven or eight LOKI Mechs instead of just one.
